For 60 years KPS has provided quality health plans
backed by outstanding customer service. Established
in 1946 by the physicians of the Kitsap County Medical
Society, KPS Health Plans offers a wide variety of plan
options for individuals, families, senior citizens,
small groups, large groups, chamber members, school
districts, federal employees and other associations
throughout Washington State.
As a subscriber of KPS you'll receive complete access
to the KPS Participating Provider Network, which includes
First Choice Health, Providence and MultiPlan Networks,
with no referrals (Home Choice plan has limitations).
So we've got you covered wherever you go.
KPS counts its members in the thousands - not millions
- so you know you'll get the personalized service you
deserve. When you need customer service, you'll reach
a local, friendly professional. There are no long hold
times, no pre-recorded answers, and no massive options
menus. That's the KPS difference. Because we are not
a large, nation-wide carrier, we are able to diversify,
and we continue to search for innovative ways to increase
the benefits most important to subscribers and price
them competitively.
KPS Health Plans has been rated number one in overall
plan satisfaction for more than a decade (rating from
1995-2005 FEHB Guide to Federal Employees Benefit Plans
and Winter/Spring 2003 Checkbook Magazine). In 2004,
KPS Health Plans was named one of Washington State's
"Best Companies to Work For" by Washington
CEO magazine, and in 2005 KPS was recognized as one
of Seattle Magazine's "Best Places to Work".
KPS Health Plans is a Washington State nonprofit preferred
provider organization (PPO) and a wholly owned subsidiary
of Group Health Cooperative.
